We are deep in winter here in the mountains of Virginia. It is unusually cold and snowy and everyone is looking forward to spring!

I like to change the photo below to show life at the farm - below is our stallion, Favory IV Delta showing off out in the big pasture. Once we turn him out, we have about 5 seconds before he rolls - which is his very favorite thing to do in the whole world! So sometimes, I don't mind people seeing the Delta I know and love, even if he is a BIG MUDDY MESS!!!

Below please find our sales list, updates 3/25/2010. Due to my advancing pregnancy coupled with a severe winter in Virginia, seven of our horses have gone to Pine Mountain Lipizzans in Lamar, Arkansas to stay with Cathy Funk until they are sold.

Bravura has very classic lipizzan movement and a calm, deliberate manner. Her dam has the most comfortable canter in the universe, which we do believe she has inherited. She has some of her sire's height and ought to mature to at least 15.2 HH - ideal for a ladies mount. Her bloodlines are superior, which could also make her an ideal addition to your breeding program. She has been to natural horsemanship training and is very intelligent, willing, calm yet energetic. She was lightly started in 2009 under saddle and her training will continue in 2010.

"Spock" is a dynamite mover and correct in every way. Truly he is the KINDEST and most uncomplicated lipizzan I have ever had the pleasure to work with. he leads, loads, and lunges like a pro. I use him as the "bait" horse for problem trailer loaders. He would make an amazing "first" lipizzan for those who have not yet been blessed enough to own one, but would be equally appreciated by breed aficionados. He will be classically sized when he finishes growing. He has lots of "itchy spots" he loves to have scratched and is a true lover of people. If I could keep my favorites I would never think of selling this colt. Bring this young gelding home today and start enjoying the disposition that makes lipizzans famous! He currently stands 14.2 HH.
