CONVERSANO II DESTINA: Welcome home, Strauss!!!!!

We had the amazing opportunity to re-purchase Strauss from Then family. We greatly appreciate this and enjoy having him back home where he belongs. And I look forward to a spring filled with riding and horse shows! After all, this wonderful gelding scored and amazing 80.526% for me in Wellington, and won the GCDA highest score of the year award in 2001!

DELPHINIA: Favory IV Delta x Emma II is the 2006 filly I have hoped for my whole life. Her calm, thoughtful disposition and tolerant, loving personality make her a joy to work around. She is a “10” in every way…the perfect homage to her great-grandmother Delphina. Her full sister, Deliria, sold at one day old. While my "Finny" may not be for sale, her 2009 full sibling will be…..

MEET OUR BROODMARES

EMMA II: Maestoso II Amata x Edesanya (Derry) is a 1995, 16+ HH regal lady. She is the mare that takes my breath away, and her earlier colts are being bought up by well-known upper level riders. We are proud that her son Conversano II Emma II-IV is standing at Pine Mountain Lipizzans. She carries the blood of the grand mare Delphina that gives her a presence and class other horses can’t touch. Her quiet, calm demeanor blends exceptionally well with the brilliant mind of of our stallion Favory IV Delta  and her 2007 foal, Deliria (pictured at left), sold at 1 day old! She is taking a much-deserved year off. 2009 anyone?

ANACOSTIA: Pluto V Slatina II x Ancona II is a 1992  Tempel-bred 16HH mare with all the presence of a stallion and the manners of a Grande Dame. She is a true daughter of Tempel's retired capriole horse known as "Grasshopper" but Tia's flawless, natural performances of this difficult movement are done for sheer joy. Her show career with Sari Wildman was impressive until she was sidelined permanently by an injury. We anticipate breeding her in early 2008. She already has been raising everyone else's foals so we are looking forward to her having her own. Currently, the QH mare Ghost Dancer is carrying a late 2008 foal for her.
